Partner-led tax advice with a clear profile

Nicole Oehmen founded taxadvice in Duisburg in 2003. In 2007, Wolfgang Buchholz and Thomas Retzlaff joined with their Dortmund firm. This combination gave rise to today's taxadvice Steuerberatungsgesellschaft mbH, with two offices in North Rhine-Westphalia.

taxadvice advises medium-sized companies, groups, real estate companies, partnerships and corporations throughout Germany — particularly on complex tax matters, transactions, VAT and the digitalisation of finance and accounting processes.

Partner-led since 2003

Our clients are mainly owner-managed businesses from North Rhine-Westphalia, complemented by clients across Germany and foreign companies with VAT obligations in Germany. They include medium-sized companies with around 600 employees.

We advise businesses and their shareholders as a whole. In owner-managed structures, the business and private spheres are intertwined: shareholding structure, privately held real estate, succession and ongoing corporate taxation are parts of one overall picture — and that is how we advise on them.

Every engagement is the responsibility of a partner. Decisions are made where the expertise lies — without friction between levels of hierarchy and with direct access to the responsible tax adviser.
